About the classes
Do you assign homework?
Yes. I assign weekly homework, and completing it is mandatory. If you skip a week, you’ll need to finish the outstanding homework the following week. I do not grade homework, but if you don’t complete it, you will fall behind.
Homework is essential additional practice that reinforces what we cover in class. Every assignment focuses directly on the material from the lessons and is designed to help you progress quickly and confidently.
What else do I need to know about this class?
Introduction to Russian‑1 is an online course. We meet weekly in Microsoft Teams for either a 1‑hour or a 1‑hour‑and‑15‑minute session. This is a fast‑paced class designed to help beginners make steady progress. Each lesson builds the foundation you need for the next steps in your Russian learning journey.

Yes. Each course includes two makeup lessons.
